Today I bought new underwear!
You probably just read the title of this and thought this was a very strange post. If that is what you're thinking, then you'd be right. This is an unusual post, and I'll tell you why; This morning I woke up feeling self-conscious. Yes, I admit it. I looked in the mirror and thought I looked bad. Halfway through self-critism, I caught and scolded myself for doing so, because I generally go out of my way to stop this from happening. You've probably done the same thing. As girls, we are constantly being compared to others, and being told that we are not pretty enough, too shy, or whatever else. We are forced to pretend we don't care, even though we do, and we begin to believe these things. Today my hair was greasy and messy, no matter how much I brushed it. I told myself to deal with it and face the world anyway. And guess what? I did. I went to the mall to make me feel better (shopping always puts me in a good mood) and I bought myself new underwear. In fact, I'm wearing them right now. And they make me feel good. You should try it sometime.

Friendship flaws
Remember the friend that is what some of us call a frenemy? She was never really mean to you, but maybe she was annoying. Or maybe she used you. Either way, you probably don't like her much. You might even want to dump her, or bring up the nerve to tell her off. We already know that no one, not even the frenemy, likes being ditched. But there is a way to do that, without anyone getting hurt. Here's a few helpful tips to solve your friendship flaws;
#1: Say your friend is always late, you plan a meet with the girls at 5:00, but she shows up at 5:30. There's a half an hour of your life gone by waiting for her, never to return. When your friend does show up, she apologizes profusely for it, but she does it every time and you're not buying anymore.
SOLUTION: this time, tell your friend to arrive by 4:30, and she'll hopefully get there on time. If that still doesn't work, start the party without her. When she realizes her friends won't be waiting around for her, she'll most likely fix her schedule for the next get-together. Score one for both of you!

The Introduction
So your best friend isn't talking to you because she thinks you spilled her crush (you so didn't). Your teacher just popped a 20 page paper on you due the same day as your debate meet. And then there's that guy who you've been in love with for years, sending you all sorts of mixed signals. To top it all off, you can't find your favourite top anywhere and, even though you swear your sis stole it, she denies ever stepping foot in your room.Ugh!
Sound familiar? You're not alone. We've all got drama in our lives--whether we want it or not. From your friends freaking out, to your sibs stealing your stuff, to your crush completely confusing you, there's always someone--or something-- that will shake up your otherwise stable self. But before you crack, listen up. You can handle every dose of drama that comes your way. You just have to know the all the steps to do just that. And that's why this blog exists, to deal with the drama that appears in all of our worlds. I'm just here to pave the road for all you girls who need a little push, that's all.
Girls, I hope you realize how great you are.
