Today I bought new underwear!
You probably just read the title of this and thought this was a very strange post. If that is what you're thinking, then you'd be right. This is an unusual post, and I'll tell you why; This morning I woke up feeling self-conscious. Yes, I admit it. I looked in the mirror and thought I looked bad. Halfway through self-critism, I caught and scolded myself for doing so, because I generally go out of my way to stop this from happening. You've probably done the same thing. As girls, we are constantly being compared to others, and being told that we are not pretty enough, too shy, or whatever else. We are forced to pretend we don't care, even though we do, and we begin to believe these things. Today my hair was greasy and messy, no matter how much I brushed it. I told myself to deal with it and face the world anyway. And guess what? I did. I went to the mall to make me feel better (shopping always puts me in a good mood) and I bought myself new underwear. In fact, I'm wearing them right now. And they make me feel good. You should try it sometime.

Friendship flaws
Remember the friend that is what some of us call a frenemy? She was never really mean to you, but maybe she was annoying. Or maybe she used you. Either way, you probably don't like her much. You might even want to dump her, or bring up the nerve to tell her off. We already know that no one, not even the frenemy, likes being ditched. But there is a way to do that, without anyone getting hurt. Here's a few helpful tips to solve your friendship flaws;
#1: Say your friend is always late, you plan a meet with the girls at 5:00, but she shows up at 5:30. There's a half an hour of your life gone by waiting for her, never to return. When your friend does show up, she apologizes profusely for it, but she does it every time and you're not buying anymore.
SOLUTION: this time, tell your friend to arrive by 4:30, and she'll hopefully get there on time. If that still doesn't work, start the party without her. When she realizes her friends won't be waiting around for her, she'll most likely fix her schedule for the next get-together. Score one for both of you!

The Introduction
So your best friend isn't talking to you because she thinks you spilled her crush (you so didn't). Your teacher just popped a 20 page paper on you due the same day as your debate meet. And then there's that guy who you've been in love with for years, sending you all sorts of mixed signals. To top it all off, you can't find your favourite top anywhere and, even though you swear your sis stole it, she denies ever stepping foot in your room.Ugh!
Sound familiar? You're not alone. We've all got drama in our lives--whether we want it or not. From your friends freaking out, to your sibs stealing your stuff, to your crush completely confusing you, there's always someone--or something-- that will shake up your otherwise stable self. But before you crack, listen up. You can handle every dose of drama that comes your way. You just have to know the all the steps to do just that. And that's why this blog exists, to deal with the drama that appears in all of our worlds. I'm just here to pave the road for all you girls who need a little push, that's all.
Girls, I hope you realize how great you are.

The Jealousy Game: The Solution
We are all born wanting to be accepted as we are. We are not born comparing ourselves to others. But somewhere along the lines, we begin to mark our value along the scale of what other women look like or how they perform. Unfortunately, in this generation, beauty = acceptance, and it beauty doesn't bring it, performance will.
However girls, if you truly wish to be accepted as you are, then it is up to you to do it. What if I told you that there is something--a force, if you will-- that allows us to be friends with everyone in the world, to make everyone like you, respect you as yourself, and you could be who you really want to be? You'd be like, "Alright, where do I get it?" Well, I'm going to show you. Did you know, if every girl that is alive right now opened up to each other and came together as one, helped each other through the tough times, were always there for each other, life would be virtually perfect? Okay, so it probably sounds a little cosmic. But it's worked for me, and it will work for all the others who are willing to try it. Listen now, I know you've heard it all before, the 'we can make difference' speech. But have you ever really took the time to think about it? Chances are, the answer is no. But before you move on, wait just a minute! We've all got busy lives; texting, friend dilemmas, crushes, and whatever else. But when I talk about making a difference, I don't mean the world. I mean You. And do you know why, girls? Because you can. You're young and special, even if you don't think so just yet. You can do it. Unlock the power. The power of GirlForce.

The Jealousy Game.
A lot of you have probably heard of this, as it happens to everyone, usually more than once. It occurs a lot with cliques or groups of girls. There's one leader, and the rest of the girls would follow her around and 'worship' her. Pretty Little Liars, The Clique and other books of that genre are very good examples of hard core friendships. Some of the other girls in the group might take the leader to be mean, or just dying for attention, but in general, the leader loves her friends just as much as anybody else. The leader is not a bully, she is simply a girl with a lot of self-confidence and because of this, she sometimes appears prettier or 'better' than the other girls in her group. This often leads to envy or even jealousy of the leader, which can destroys friendships between the girls.
First of all, let me just reassure you that it's happened to all of us. And if it hasn't yet, believe me, it will, and it won't be fun. I'm going to tell you how to recognize the problem and get to it before it gets you. Buckle up, girlies. You're in for a very bumpy ride!
